Names of the SCA Packaging Design Challenge finalists revealed!

Finally, after passionate discussions, a shortlist of 11 entries has been selected by the Tempo and LEGO jury members as finalists of the SCA Design Challenge 03.

 

Jury meetings took place during December 2011 in Brussels, Belgium, for the Tempo category and in Billund, Denmark, for the LEGO category. Jury members went through over 200 entries from candidates from over the world and rated the concepts based on the criteria of consumer experience, novelty factor, sustainability and feasibility. There was a tie on the rating scores on two entries for the Tempo category and the jury felt it would be unfair to leave one of them out, so we ended up with 6 finalists for Tempo and 5 for LEGO.

During February 2012, the Tempo finalists will participate in a workshop at our Design Centre in Gent (Belgium) and will have the chance to visit the Tempo manufacturing plant in Neuss-am-Rhein in Germany. The LEGO finalists will have their workshop at our Design Centre in Vejle (Denmark) and will tour the LEGO plant in nearby Billund.
